Trousers, you'll find Xmas is much different here. Although the garden centres get their stuff in early, many of the supermarkets wont get Xmassy until the beginning of December and as you know, Xmas here is just one day as if new year, not the two weeks that seem to be the norm now in the UK.
Have you decided where you're going to live yet?
Perhaps we need a Grapevine garden party in the summer?TonyF, Dordogne 24220

We took the deccies down today. All sad now coz it means Madmax heads off for his new job tomorrow Dunno when we will have him home next. (kinda nice to have the house back to 'normal' though) (that is without the deccies - NOT without Madmax)Last edited by shirlthegirl43; 05-01-2008, 07:50 PM.Happy Gardening,

Wellie/Trousers, did you get my pm?
If you buy in the areas you mentioned, you'll only be a couple of hours from us (Jardiniere included) as a couple of hours here to get to somewhere is ok usually!
You must let us know when you're coming, I'm sure we could put you up for a couple of nights if you want to visit - could even invite some of the others over for a bit of a do!!Last edited by TonyF; 06-01-2008, 08:42 AM.TonyF, Dordogne 24220
