OH mainly minds the garden at home and always has done. But he has graciously allowed me to plant a few herbs and tubs with veg over the years. And pull some weeds or do other "tidying up" jobs.
The lottie is my plan though. I went off and got on the list by myself, and he definitely sees it as "my" thing. But he did all the heavy digging last spring, has done a lot of the "manly" work over the year, and is refusing to let me dig again this spring (although there's a lot to do so I think I may need to put my foot down on that one). But I am the one who tends to get there most often, and who has done most of the planning and dreaming.
He is more than happy to sample the rewards though - and issue dictats like "give the toddler all of the peas, there's only a few and they're good for her"!! I grew them to enjoy some myself too!!!!
