My brother was a big Adam and the Ants fan. I really liked them but was more of a Madness fan personally.

It was The Jam for me. In fact Paul Weller is my longest standing crush! Reckon it must be round about our silver anniversary now!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Yup, Madness too...! And The Specials, Bad Manners... as well as some much cheesier stuff like Thomson Twins My sis was a huge fan of The Jam, & Elvis Costello, and very very early U2, and some weirder stuff (to me) like Psychadelic Furs, so I grew up listening to all that - we had to share a room!
