Following on from piskie's thread regarding if your OH joins you in enthusing over gardening or not, I wondered the same kind of question regarding forums.

The reason I ask, is that last night LadyWayne was talking to her Mum on the phone and telling her how pleased I was about being MOM, but I don't think either of them really understood what a forum was.

Reason:

They both said - "Why don't you offer to write a monthly column for the magazine?" To which I laughed, and then tried to explain that the whole thing about a forum is that you kind of do just that, but without being asked. It's an open "forum" for people to exhange ideas, knowledge, experience etc etc. I'm not sure they understood...

Does your OH half partake in forum usage, or are they too a little unaware of what it's all about?

Snowdrop doesn't do forums any more than he does gardening.

I tend to do most of my foruming during the day - working from home makes it easy to do, oh so darn easy to do (looks at pile of work not getting done). But come the nice weather .....

OH thinks its sad virtual gardening he calls it.... this is the man who plays WOW for hours on end with virtual characters....how does that work then???

Dont think my OH would know what a forum was if it jumped up and bit him!! He's very suspicious of all that kind of thing, would wonder if you were all 'dirty old men' out to get me!!!
