  • And the 3rd thing will be......

1st thing to go wrong was the battery had run flat on my car ( last used Xmas Eve)
2nd - When I finally got to the shops I realised ( having walked through a heavy downpour) that my fleece was inside out. Choice...keep walking round with coat quite obviously inside out, or remove it, turn it right-side-out and have sopping side on the inside!!!!! ....vanity won and I walked around sopping wet insideout!!!

What's the third thing to go wrong????...bound to be something fun like a blocked loo

What a day! ( so far!!!....)

Probably that a bird had pooped on your coat and you hadn't nioticed!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

Don't worry, no matter where it is, it will have washed off, even on the inside!

I've had days like that! Fingers crossed any 'third thing' isn't that bad... and if it is, I'm sure opening a nice bottle will make it better
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Lost corkscrew? (Monty Python YOU WOZ LUCKY !...)
Squeaking from experience, and having had 'a run of' back luck just of late, brings to mind one New Years' Eve, when Trousers (having broken my favourite Cherub Wall Mirror that year, I'm currently trying to superglue the bits back togevver again?) positioned the bottle of Champagne on the kitchen worksurface on our countdown to midnight ...... and Wellie went and got the glasses, and as we were counting down expectantly, Trousers popped the champagne cork, and the ruddy bottle of bubbly fell off the worksurface and onto the quarry-tiled floor - and smashed. And we didn't have another one.

And of course Christmas Day evening, my noo dress got ruined, and then THIS New Years' Eve with the Sofa almost on fire.....

Oh, and Nicos, £60 the other day to have a man in to unblock a drain by the gate where the Deutzia roots had grown through....(!)

And then Trousers found out there's no more work with the company he'd been working his proverbial bo!!ocks off for over the last ten weeks, even working weekends to make up for my 6 weeks off to recover from major surgery, and to top it all, they've now told him he won't get paid diddly sh!t until the middle of March? (But he HAS got another job lined up for now)

Nicos, please say that I can come shopping with you to 'give me a break'?
And I promise to wear my fleece inside out honey as well?!

Oh Wellie, and Trousers, please have a HUGE virtual hug. Hope it all gets better soon.

Know exactly what you mean about the work situation - Madmax seems to go through that one all the time - flipping contracting!!!

I usually manage to keep my undies under

'Champagne Ville' does that mean I need to put my chardonnay in the sodastream?
