Help, I think we're all very closely related. Ever strained the lumpy gravy through a sieve only to realise it's all going down the plughole cos you forgot to put the jug underneath the sieve?

I usually strain leftover peas/sweetcorn over the sink, the amount of times I've strained the water into the bin & chucked the peas in the sink...

Thanks for starting this thread Claire it reminds me to my chef style attemp... one day I tried to flip my ommelet by moving and lifting it up to the air...but it didn't land on the pan but on my head ...oh dear, not only it spoilt our breakfast but I had to re shower...how silly could I have done, but it was very funny too as Dh was close by and we both end up in having a good laugh...LOL...

I have 2 hotties (hot water bottles): one for feet, one for bad back. Filling them up on Tuesday, the stoppers got mixed up, but I figured it wouldn't much matter and left them.

Next morning: wet bed, wet nightie, wet pillows. Empty hottie.

Not going to do it again once is enough...pretty embarrasing too but still find it funny:
