So the poll was for no reason? Doesn't really bother me though but I liked it as it was.Had a bit of a shock because I tried to log on through my 'favourites' link & the vine had disappeared due to the changes but I found it eventually!

For what it's worth, tho', my initial reasoning was based on how many pages you get printed out if you just want - say - a recipe, or to print out a pm for an address or something. Seemed wasteful - but those who say about the 'comfort factor' whilst reading are right, I think.

You could always copy/paste the text you want into notepad or something, then print from there?

If you copy and paste the recipe onto a word document, it will only take up the space of the recipe, so it will make no difference the size of the page.

Much better, I never have side bar up anyway. Its in the view menu Rogesse

Only use small monitor but filled perfectly with vegginess!

I think that is a bit cynical SBP. (pot caling kettle!) Hasn't the advertising got a bit less intrusive of late?

I think people on Dial Up will have a problem with the new look - it's got to get even slower to load up, right?

Queen of the luddites here, sorry for being so thick - but which bit in the view option Paulottie?
I don't have a side bar and 'full screen' makes no difference. I assume it is something really really simple

He means 'view' in the top menu bar. There's one in the menu list called 'sidebar' or 'explorer bar', you then 'untick' one of the choices of sidebar listed. But as you have no sidebar I assume its down to the size of screen display you're viewing?

See this thread and see if it helps - the 'effect' can be reversed by repeating the instructions...

                    Hope that solves it.

Smallblueplanet I love you - I can see! It was the resolution!

Thank you, the thread did the job

Hubby (king luddite) is also well chuffed as he was having similar problems with another site!

                      Cheers - Jane
