Big {hugs} for you both Snadger. Do let us know how Kes is doing.
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Lots of love to Kes for a speedy recovery and to you too Snadger. If she keeps retching call the vet they may be able to give her something (we do with humans).
Hope we hear some good news from you soon, we're bound to with all these positive vibes going your way xxx.

Sorry to hear about your beloved dog. Counting from the number of support from the Vine, hope it'll be comforting to know that we're all praying for her recovery too.

Having recently lost my beloved dog after years of just about every sort of treatment that has ever been dreamed up by veterinary science, (except a hysterectomy - he was a boy!) I too think that as long as she's taking in fluids then it's a good sign. We always kept some of those frozen 'fish in sauce' things in the freezer for his 'poorly dinners', and at least they're not too gruesome to handle if you decide to finger feed her in an effort to tempt her - for some reason dogs always seem to find food more interesting if their people offer it to them in small bits.

I can truly sympathize with you, Snadger, the fact that a dog can't tell you what's wrong makes it worse too. I hope she's soon up and about and running around those fields.

                    Best Wishes: Bluemoon

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

At 4.40pm this afternoon the best friend I ever had in the world departed this mortal coil.

Kes died peacefully in my arms and will be buried tomorrow in the area she loved the most, a wooden copse at the bottom of the field.

I am really missing her already.

I would like to thank you all for your kind wishes
