Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

The weather we have today is the weather the forecaster's said we would have yesterday . So I still haven't been able to get to the lottie and do anything. I could do things in/to the shed and GH if it would stay dry long enough to fix the shed and put up the GH.

Everything ok where you are Hans Mum? Our local secondary school has just sent the kids home as the road into Skipton is nearly impassable, and we have a Severe Flood warning & 2 Flood Warnings in force at the mo, and they're forecasting more rain/sleet to come in the next few hours . Pretty sure it won't get in my house (touching wood!!), but my street is a river...

i'm at work still, the aire has burst its banks in some parts of leeds but not causing to much disruption at the moment, home should be ok we we live up a bit of a hill so (touch wood) never been flooded and they built a new water management system for the area which was completed just b4 xmas so lets see if it works

hope everyone out there is safe and no damage

Don't know what's going on here but, last night we saw the most spectacliar moon halo and this afternoon there was a sun dog. Spooky eh?

Also attached is a picture of a couple of clouds looking like (well almost ?!) a pair of eyes looking over the hill at the front of our house.

I don't remember seeing a moon halo before but it was stunning. The sky inside the halo was completely clear and I could see the stars but the sky on the outside was very cloudy.

They do say that it is a sign of bad weather on the way so I can't stop here chatting, I'd best get into the garden while I can

Stay safe people. Just looking out of the window and whilst it's very windy out, there is also sunshine at the moment!
