Welcome to the vine! Don't forget to update your location so that we know where you are for vegetable growing. Doesn't London has its own unique micro-climate to the rest of the country?

Hey, I am in the North, a place call Stoke Newington...close to Finsbury park, Angel, Hackney basically...
The good thing (apart having a garden ) is that I have a BIG park close by call Clissold park, and the air is fresh and grassyyy....cool !
Of course I will not stay here all my life, I will be living in a farm for sure sooner or later. I am french by the way, and I have studied Ecology ... dont ask me why I am here now !!
HEY, why there is so many people in here, what do you do the rest of the time??
                  lol
happy day tomorrow for all of you...and yes, it is raining here!!

Have you any ideas of what you would like to grow? I'm sure I can spare some seed to help you start off, if you would like.

As to what I do the rest of the time Maria - I was lucky enough to get early retirement 18 months ago - so I have earned the right over many years to do exactly as I like! (That's my story anyway)
I also make quilts, sing in choirs, knit, cook up all the lovely food I grow. Who needs work?

                            PS your English is brilliant.

Welcome Maria, I'm a Brit living in France.

And I was born in Stoke Newington, my grandparents lived in N22 for many years and I know Clissold Park very well, used to be the place where grandma took me when I was a tiddler.

It was also a place very dear to me cos I used to go there with somebody very special in the late 1970s who I haven't seen for over 20 years - sigh.
