It's not all bad news!

Just come back from the lottie for the first time since Xmas and was a bit worried about what we might find

Anyway - apart from the flooded paths and asparagus........

There was no broken glass in the greenhouse ( even after all that wind!)
The peach tree in there has plenty of PINK buds thinking about opening
A ladybird was sitting watching me working and a couple of honey bees came over to investigate.
The daffodils are up by about 3"
The hazelnut was covered in yellow catkins.
The Timperley Early rhubarb is 6" high
It even stopped raining for a while whilst we were working!

Ain't life great????

I don't dare go out into my garden - it is like walking on a muddy,soggy bath sponge! I know I have red sprouting broccoli to harvest but I am worried that I will destroy my already poor excuse for a lawn if I try to go and collec the veg!

My rhubarb is still well and truly hibernating! Wish I could!

I'm goning to go down the plot today to see how things are. Not been down for a copple of weeks.

Our first plot is now ready for things to go inAll dug over, the ground was lovely to dig with all the rain,not too back breaking apart from b****y chickweed
Our second plot(the rough one) is sat there patiently waiting for me to rescue it from weeds and grass. Thats my next job as a majority of the potatoes are going on that one
Lets hope we have a better year than last one

Well just been down the plot Photos in My blog not good We lost all our sprin cabbadges
But when I got back I whent into the green house and sowed some colis and the new cabadges are just starting to pop up and one of the broad beans are to
also the strob planters we got started to clear the dead away and there was One tiney flower a bit early I think but gives us hope
