    Hello everybody,

thought i would just introduce myself as i have only recenlty found this site.

i've just taken over a rather rundown allotment in south lincs so am trying to glean as much info as possible about how, where and when to start!!

have got hubby making a shed, and sons are on the lookout for anything i can use ie scaffold boards, old tyres etc, some of which are already appearing on the lottie.

i've inherited raspberry canes, both summer and autumn, and other fruit bushes, just not sure what they are at the moment.

i can see this latest 'hobby' taking over my life!!

Hello and welcome to the vine bettyboo.

Keep lots of notes about how your growing goes this year, it will be useful to refer back to next year.
      Happy Gardening,

Hello and welcome! I would start by making a list of your very favourite fruit and veg - you always do better with those things you lavish love on! Then take a look at the seed packets in the shops. Be guided by them as to your sowing dates. Sometimes you can get away with being a bit previous, but generally speaking they are the product of far more experience than any one of us has.
Best of luck - and let's have some pictures of your progress.
