Thanks folks. You cheered me up, again.

Piglet, my only running naked will be from the shower to the towel shelf!!! Any greater distance is just too shocking to contemplate.

Just spotted that from the 5 cloves of shop garlic I planted before Crimbo, I have three shoots through - 3 inches high!! How did I miss it before? Now there is a birthday surprise, and I have a daff flowering at the back door!

I intend having a relaxing day with the usual laundry of kids school/college/work clothes and feeding the horseys. Maybe a chinese takeaway for dinner (if I can be bothered going to buy it). Oh, and, of course, drinkies on the vine later on too - the best bit of the day since Madmax is away.
                  Happy Gardening,
                  Shirley

                    Happy Birthday Shirl!

I shall join you in a glass of something alcofrolic later!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I'm hoping they'll be here any day now Shirl. I think post from the US takes about a week on average. Fingers crossed!
