I can't show off with much, but I do have a good view. Another wonderful day today, with temperatures soaring to 17 degrees - WOW Sadly at work so didn't get much done in the garden, but at 6pm tonight I took these photographs. Basically the view from my garden gate. It was a lovely sunny evening (photographs seem quite dark though) and I wish you could hear the oystercatchers, snipe and curlew calling, along with the bleating of the lambs. It was wonderful - I am so lucky.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway.

What a lovely spot - when the sun shines like it has today, you can almost forget the hardships of winter !
I don't have a view from my garden, but working all over Easter Ross outside in the country every day, I see some wonderful views, and wildlife, and birdsong.Rat

Gorgeous view Jennie. Glad you appreciate all you have . So many people seem to be oblivious to what they have or incapaple of creating anything themselves. And yes, it was just a fantastic day in this neck of the woods. Hope we get a few more.

Jennie, what a fantastic view. I'd love to have something like that...
Nope, I have the view of the back of the surrounding houses, lovely. Especially a few people here don't seem to tend to their gardens I'd take a photo of mine but you'd all think I lived on an industrial estate or something!Shortie

I just put my camera on a tripod and took a picture and then turned the camera a little and then took another picture and carried on like this until I got a shot of the whole horizon. My camera has got inbuilt software to do this, but I like doing it myself and leaving the images cut up and separate.

If only was so nice around here. Our street seems to be turning into giant car parks instead of gardens. Every time you look out the window a garden disapears. surrounded by cement and gravel and paving slabs now instead of gardens packed with wildlife. Makes my blood boil, but maybe me turning into grumpy old woman!

They,re not just views theyre little bits of heaven. You are all so lucky to live in such beautiful places. I can only imagine what it must be like to wake up every morning in such beautiful surroundings.
By the way Biedie wife, hope you don't mind my asking but where exactly is Sutherland?
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

That's lovely Alice. I love the curving path and the depth to everything. Wish I could do something like that. Am doing a little each year, but never seem to get very far with anything.~

Thanks Jennie, glad you liked the views so have posted these pictures of my garden taken last week. Everything has been grown from seed, cuttings or very baby plants. We started this garden 20 years ago from practically nothing so it has taken a while. We just had to do a bit at a time as time and money allowed. Only getting to start a kitchen garden now as never had the time to look after one before. Will keep you posted on that one.
