ebook : Ministry of Agriculture Allotment and Garden Guide - January 1945 page 1

    Hi

This came up on another forum - just thought I would post it here for
    a - anyone interested and
    b - future reference and
    c - I love these old posters.

Of course, most of the advice holds true.

Apologies if it has been posted before.

    Wonderful!

Nice to know that copies of the leaflets have been kept.

Thank you Zazen, My Dad was just back from the RAF then and I was being taught how to garden very much the way this describes. I've gone all nostalgic now!
It's not the growing old I mind but the growing stupid with it!

I've got a Dig for Victory t-shirt. It was available from past Times for several years - might still be. I wear it with pride in the summer!

Thanks for that - apart from some of the language a lot of this could have been written last week. You'd almost think the chemically fueled decades between 1950 and 1990 had never happened.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
