Well, today is the third anniversary of J and I actually buying our home here in France. We first saw it the end of previous September, made the offer and were all moved in by this time next week - but today is the day.

We bought because of location, the commune it's in, it's age and type of the house (modernish but needed work doing on it) but mainly because we got THE garden that we've both always wanted, taking loads of time, effort and energy to get it done our way but worth every day and euro spent on it!

After marrying herself, best decision that I ever made.

Hpaay anniversary Tony. Its good to hear a success story. Many years ago me, OH and kids spent a lovely holiday in the Dordogne. We have always said we would go back, but like everything else, it got put on the long finger, and time just passed. Some day....,..

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                  Congratulations.

I've been trying to think of something to say that doesn't sound as though we're insanely jealous of you & J, but I can't!
