I think sick pay policies can be a right bladdy minefield. I know when my back went pop and I was off work for 3 months after the op I was glad that I had signed up to the companies healthcare scheme (lots of people hadn't), but that also ran out, and I was lucky that LadyWayne has the financial mind that she has. Our personal health insurance plan kicked into place after so many weeks, by which time I was desperate to get back to work anyway.

I've just signed up to the British Gas cover thingy wotsit too. Man do you pay for peace of mind!
