  • Who woke up to snow?

Hi Guys I am really diappointed we didnt have snow in Surrey. How many in my view lvery ucky people have had snow and how deep is it?

I'm so jealous, I love the snow it reminds me of my child hood.

Hope you all have a good weekend and keep safe

We had some lovely big fluffy flakes yesterday but it didn't manage to lie on the ground. It has tried to snow a bit this morning but nothing much - just a light dusting. My children are as optimistic as ever though ...

We've got a covering, but not deep enough to cover the grass properly yet! Enough for a snowball fight, but the snowman will have to wait

Yes: - see my location. About 5cms. Main roads clear, side roads snowbound. Just a drop really.

          beautiful clear morning.
Walk day today not running which is a pity cos I like running in clear white snow.. quite beautiful running round a lake with snow on ground and in trees and ice covered lake with ducks/geese etc.
(mind you it takes 5km to get to lake and a 200 metre high climb at the end:-)

A light dusting; pretty but not enough to make a snowball!

Yes, we have snow. Not a vast amount but enough for our dog to romp in - although she's not happy doing it for long. Our old Lab would have been out there until every last bit was gone.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

silly me - should have said I am in sunny Stoke-on-Trent, probably only 10-15 miles from Madasafish.

i seem to live in a snow free zone we keep get it forcast but it never comes but i'm not gonna stop hoping.
I'd rather regret the things i've done than regret not doing them at all.

We had heavy snow yesterday evening, started around 7 pm but was very wet and wasn't settling. Got heavier and less wet and we ended up with around an inch settled. Was thawing a bit when I went to bed but when I got up this morning it had frozen through the night. Looks pretty in the garden, but the roads and pavements are a mess. Sun's out now and it's thawing.

Took Iona across to pals for a sleepover at 19:30 - snowing but not lying.
Left house at 21:50 to go to my bouncer job and there was 4" of snow lying on the ground !!
Still snowing at 3 this morning when I was coming home from having a few "afters" to wet Niamh's head.
Sun is shining now, but still quite fresh outside.
