    Yes I guess I always do feel much more comfy in other people's "lived in" houses. I just feel so feel really embarrassed when anyone comes round to ours. Mind you, it can't put people off, they're always dropping round

    So, in a mass tidy before Rob came round (to, as it turns out rewrite a whole bloomin' contract for him!) a neighbour 2 doors down popped in to riffle through my flower seeds.I completely don't mind, except it meant I got nothing tidied

    Ho hum.... at least when I'm back at work we won't be home most of the day to make it messy

          And I hate to be the one to tell you it doesn't seem to get tidier as the kids grow up either - they just leave bigger shoes lying in the way!

                    When I married Madderbat the lad came as an "extra" can't moan he's a good lad & he's good with pooters. (Buy one get one free)

                          You should find if you and the kids aren't in the house most of the day, you'll have less time to mess it up.
