As previously promised, a photo from the wedding album my mum did for us. She put together a load of photos telling the stories of both our lives up to that point, and then the wedding itself, with her own artwork around the mounted photos.
Anyone who wants to see the whole album will need to come and visit!
We got married at Chelsea Registry office. Just the two of us - very exciting. We had to find witness when we got there....was so much fun. I had a black fifties style strapless dress and high heels and massive pink flowers strapped together in black ribbnon!
Yep, traditional white dress and veil for me too - must've worked, silver wedding in September this year - and Ive always said, and still do, Id marry Drew every day of the year, just to wear another wedding dress! I do try it on each year......on our anniversary.....and it hasnt fitted for the last few years - aw well - it was a size 10 reduced to a size 8 - after 25 years that aint bad! Bernie

Appreciate the little things in life because one day you will realise they are the big things
my hubby wanted big do but i refused said i wouldn't turn up so we got married 15 days after i agreed to it, no-one invited no big thing. i said i didn't want to spend loads on something that might not work out so if we make it to 10 years we could renew our vows and have a big do then. We got booked in for just after england - argentina game in 2002 world cup it went to extra time and we were both late. i did look a bit of a plum sat in the pub in a gold / cream full length silk dress. running out of time for the big do might tempt him with a holiday instead . The thought of all my family in the same room as all his family there ain't enough vodka in the world to ease that blow.
I'd rather regret the things i've done than regret not doing them at all.
