The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

            • Found it but can't get into it. Will have to ask daughter when she comes round - I think she's managed to put her plot on.

I think you double click on the icon itself when it appears in the 'box' on the map? Can't remember 100% what I did now.

                • Have added my pin to the google map. Seeing the shadow cast by my southerly neighbour's shed I can see why the crops in one of my raised beds are never great! It doesn't look that bad on the ground!

This picture was taken around the end of 2006/start of 2007 looking at how many beds I had in by then.

Now, how do I add all the places I have plots on that aren't on this planet???

                  EDIT:

Just checked the second link and the map here is at least a year older for my plot!!

                    • OK, I give up - following the instyructions is OK but how do I do France on HW's map?

Edit, sorted it, clicky arrow things ...........

Edit, can't do the blue balloon droppy thing but have used the green arrow - not sure how - but that doesn't let me do the box.

Edit: now I've done the blue balloon things and saved it ..........

                        • It doesn't matter which of the maps I look at, the pictures of my area are all ancient... At least 9 years ago since a barn on my 'dog-walk route' was demolished, but it's still there on all the different maps

Your right SarWix its hard to run at that speed while pulling 40 tons behind you . Thats why I stopped at Tebay for a glass of water.
It,s a small program that I downloaded to my phone that allows me to keep records of where I've been and if I ever get lost to see exactly where I've been.
We have 3 brand new lorries coming shortly (end of March) all fitted out with trackers so the boss knows exactly where everyone is ( had a few go awol lately for a few hours and larger fuel bills than should have been)
