  • The OH (a rep) dreads the day he gets a tracker put on his car, not because he goes where he shouldn't, but because there'd be questions asked when the car didn't move from outside our house until 10am every morning...!

    • Put my pin in, changed it to a sun, looks like a sunflower. The map piccy looks as if it was from before the houses were built, but you can see where the plots were going to be when I look it up on 'my map', but on the grapes one they say I can't zoom in that close. Never mind. There aren't many of us in Kent so far!
      I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

      • I've added mine after much faffing to work out how... sorry I seem to have accidentally deleted the title thingy because I'm an eejit. Despite the photographic evidence to the contrary, the plot IS being cultivated! You can see my huge apple tree and the pond in the garden. The chickens live behind the pond.
        You are a child of the universe,
        no less than the trees and the stars;
        you have a right to be here.

        • OK, so how do you change the blue balloon thingy (see, getting higher tech with the descriptions now) to another type of thingy, like the sunflower?

            just click on edit, then click on your marker, should bring up a little box, then click on the marker inside that box and it should bring up loads of default colours and shapes etc, then just select which one you want. clear as mud?

                is that google map the "final" map? the one that's gonna be around forever?
                i've seen other sites where you don't need to register to stick a pin in and i hate the whole register thing cos my business is web based and i've got so many logins for so many things that i just forget them all ........

                      • Just seen this so stuck my pin in! Must be a picture from a few years ago as all adjacent plots are still overgrown.

                        Wayne I think you've been moved unless you are really in that wood?

                            There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

                              • I've just found my plot... On the bottom end (euphemistically called the 'wildlife area') is a sign saying 'Here be Dragons'.
