A few years ago (when we were about to redo the kitchen) Madmax and I came in to find Ludo (dog) floating round the kitchen in his basket with an expression of 'I don't know how this happened' on his face. He had chewed through the water pipe to the fridge which had been exposed when said fridge was relocated for the kitchen work. His face was so comical we couldn't tell him off. Also, all the water spraying round the walls helped loosen the grotty old wallpaper!Happy Gardening,

STS - do you have a poltergeist?!
Gardenplot - too late now, but I would have suggested a stiff drinkie too, hope you're all recovered now?Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

One of our cats (Bubble and Squeak - ok I got them when they were kittens, one was fluffy and the other 'talked) started NAGGING me, intermittently and persistently. I have no idea what he wants half the time - not food, not to go out, not to let his brother in, I just don't know. Had begun to wonder if he was poorly, although he looked well and was eating like a pig, when he stopped.
Guess I'll have it again at the next Full moon (or something).
Pets, dontcha love 'em??

Eventually noticed tiny beads of glass on floor, Lots of beads of glass on gas cooker.
Oops! Realised I'd left gas ring on 'low' with Pyrex dish on top.
