Bulbs, with or without an order?
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower

      Hi

No I don't - i am MSE and Grape only!!!

Everyone's should be on their way then; my order said the bulbs wouldn't be out for a month so they must have had some delivered. The OH is quite pleased with his little lot, as it was all his except the blueberry.

Mine had an order, it was the blueberry that swung it I think!

Goodness Seasprout, That's like saying 'Macbeth' in a theatre' Why would anyone need another site? You're already on the best one!

I'm not saying there ARE other sites but suppose there were....and they are all onto the free bulb thing...well we could be waiting a while for dispatch!

So what is in the free bulb pack anyway?

Had a e-mail + letter back so far!...looking forward to my cannas too, My mate, a landscape gardener, knowing I'm into growing coleus too, piped up.."so you're going for French municipal planting this year?"...

Doh - should have put that - I was so excited about the blueberry...
          40 Anemone Blanda Blue
          20 Sparaxis
          20 Ixias mixed
          20 Ranunculus

He looked them all up [apart from anemone], liked the look of the sparaxis and ixias, and the ranunculus is a bit blousy [a common term in our house for anything I don't really like] but I think it will look ok in the wild flower garden.

Ho don't get me wrong, this is without doubt the best Gardening site around, I like to keep an eye on the BBC site, and that's how i found out about this bulb offer.

I have also been cheeky and posted the link to this site in a few posts on there, the problem is the first thing people see on the homepage is the £7.99 magazine. Several have replyed to me what a shocking price for a mag.

            I've tried to explain.

              Thaks Zazen

I Had some spraxis before, Nice and bright, but they all died in the border as i forgot to lift them, had a few in a pot. let it dry out after flowering in the back of the green house, to take again in spring - but it was accidentally composted!..no label

Ixias are corn lilys, my neighbour has a patch, pretty easy round here, he just leaves them in and mulches in winter.

Ranunculus! Blimey, I've just spent five years digging buttercup off the lottie is there any indication of variety?

Anenomes are a wide genus too but I love em all.

Yeah Seasprout, Is this the other Mag..'Let grow veg', is it? with lots of seeds. I'm kinda sorted for seeds these days and am quite specific with what I need to buy so I've never read it. Been a reader of GYO...since around August 2005,I met Georgina Wroe-the editor then, at West Dean Gardens...we had a real laugh and she gave me loads of seeds for the subsciption. When was the first issue of GYO? anyone know?

Doubtful as I haven't heard anything from the company. We'll see I guess.
