Just listened to the motoring bulletin and it seems there isn't a motorway in the country that has'nt got standing traffic for one reason or another. Not been a good day for driving.

Hi Wayne, we've had fick fog too. Twas a lovely morning, though I could hear the foghorn going (live right on the coast). Anyway it rolled inland around midday and has been here ever since.Comment

Sorry to annoy you all but it has been gorgeous here all day - 12 degrees and beaming sunshine. Beautiful. Spent some hours working for my dad and heard a woodpecker in the trees, but couldn't find him to take a picture. Madmax had fog in Holland though and pretty cold too.Happy Gardening,

Was a lovely warm sunny day all day here, it was a bit chilly in the shade.
well if we get fick fog tomorrow morning like laine lou said it stayed till bout 1pm, then went lovely, might do the same for us

It was clear and sunny till midday ish, I plodded around on No.1 allotment, went to sis-in-laws for coffee and she said "oh, its all foggy" - what a pea souper. I had to cycle back home in that (8 miles). Not so bad, visibility was fairly normal.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.Comment

the fick fog is really lovely to look at out of my office window across the airfield in the early morning - whilst wearing me fluffy socks and PJ's and munching hot toast and coffee
