Nicos Thanks I was reading up in greenhouses, polytunnels and cloches. I think I would like to get into vegetables. This past winter I got a Southern Burner heater for the greenhouse, will install a soon as our weather warms. At this time I grow citrus and tropicals, the citrus are in containers its a lot of fun. I'll update my CP. at a later time. with a link for people that may be interested.

Hi and welcome to the vine. I have recently bought a lemon and a calamondin orange so I might well be picking your brains for citrus advice.

I take it you do most of your growing under cover of some type with those sort of temperatures!

Yes many of us grow are citrus in containers and heated greenhouses. I'm hoping to get into fresh vegetables with my citrus this coming winter 2008 in a heated greenhouse. At this time my trees are indoors and in containers. I miss the fresh veggies in the winter. The cost on buying 'em is high. I use to do a lot of canning back in the old days I'm hoping to learn more now that I found Grapevine. I don't think your growing is to much different than mine as far as growing zones. I live between zone 3-4 in the U.S. Take Care.
