  • Subscription to GYO, advice please...

    Hi,

I got my subscription through WHSmith in the summer last year, but WHSmith changed 'providers' (it used to be one called 'magazine service'), and I've no idea when will my current subscription finish or if it will carry on indefinetely (as it's a monthly credit card charge). Is anyone else in a similar situation?

I got a pretty good deal with WHSmith last time (50% off), so if I need to get a new subscription elsewhere, has anyone got an idea what's the best deal around?

    Many thanks!

    Hiya Mapcr77
I'm in exactly the same situation. I got a great deal on a sub for about 6 issues from WH Smith, but I think the price is due to go up now, so I was going to shop around for a better deal, when lo and behold, today I receive a subsription offer in the post from GYO, for £6.05 every 3 issues. Think I'll change to that one.

I get my subscription through GYO itself, it offers a good deal if you pay by direct debit and you get a good deal when you renew too. I've been a subscriber since the second or third issue i think - i'm hooked!

Thanks all for your answers, so how much do you pay per issue? And Muckdiva, actually, I received the same letter as you! (that's what got me looking for subscription offers) The WHSmith thing was supposed to be 50% for 6 issues, but I'm still being charged half the price, and i've had it for nearly 8 months now...
