Hi cassie1 and welcome to the forum. We are in Puy-de-Dôme at an altitude of just under 2000 feet and are embarking on our second year also.

If you ask some questions, you will get loads of good, friendly and good humoured advice here.

Hi there Cassie1- and welcome to the Vine!
( perhaps you could put your location on your profile as it will help others when they reply to any questions?)
What are you planning on growing??

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Un petit bonjour from a bit further north. This is our 4th year now and luvvvvving it still.
We arent that much further south than where we used to live so our seasons are fairly similar, you are in the second sunniest departement in France if my memory serves me so melons and mango's aplenty

And welcome from Trousers, me and the cat. We're heading your way this coming year, with our cottage on the market here, as I type! so 'keep it warm' for us! and in the meantime, if there's any growing advice I can give (Trousers and cat still learning mostly....and me too, but dead enthusiastic!) I'd be more than happy to help, if I can.
