Month of GYO mag

hiya

I know this has asked before BUT just tried to search for it and no joy

I am a little behind in my GYO mag ( just read DEC 2007)

Now the question I have, if the date is for example Jan 2008, does it mean its related to Jan or Feb 2008, I cant remember.

If it says Jan on the cover, the contents relate to FEB.

Its a bit of a git, with no apparent sign of changing.

However Gardeners world magazine changed policy a year or so ago, the month on the cover relates to the contents.
