  • techy pic related questions

ok, I admit, totally non-techy. when you get that little bit that says 'thumbnail attached' I find it very hard to get the image up. sometimes if you hover the mouse you get a little hand, and then click and bingo, there's the pic. but with some, nothing happens. what am I doing wrong? and how do I attach a pic to my posts, assuming I can master the technology to get pics off the camera and on to the computer?

    Posting pics

Here you go this may help.

Firstly I always go to advanced .

Click the paperclip button (yellow on the piccie)

Then browse to where your foto is on your computer

Upload, then click the paperclip button again & paste the picture. You can post more than one but have to upload them one at a time.

F&V Virgin, no disrespect to Nick but I don't think you'll manage to post a piccy on those instructions. I'm no expert but can do it. Will post full instructions or PM them to you over the weekend. Start by searching the forum under "read before you post" and read (preferably print) what Ben wrote there. Made no sense to me on first reading but print it and follow instructions. Download Picassa (free from Google). Great application and makes everything so easy. In the Google search box type Picassa and take it from there. You may have posted your first piccy before I get back with detailed instructions. Think so. Good luck.
