I'm in need of escapism 'big-stylie' at the mo., so I'm back to the kids books... Just finished the Susan Cooper 'Dark is Rising' series last week, started Harry Potters on Friday & I'm onto Goblet of Fire already! When I finish with HP, I'll be reading the Diana Wynn-Jones 'Chrestomanci' books. Hopefully by the time I finish those it'll be full on sowing season

For escapsim try anything by Jasper Fforde (but I'd recommend starting at the beginning with The Eyre Affair). For the madcap world that is Jasper Fforde, look here: Jasperfforde.com : Homepage

Or, you could try Tom Holt - he's another loon.

Am just finished "The Time Traaveller's Wife", which I mostly enjoyed. But I am doing too much reading for college at the moment (loads of economics - great fun really..... ) so apart from a quick flick through Tom Doorely's new one ("Grow and Eat"?), I am abandoning reading until May and concentrating on knitting (a nephew and a niece/nephew due in April and June respectively- so enough to keep me busy in my few quiet moments!).

Looking forward to a good long browse in the bookshop then one afternoon though, and going back to the library too.
