  • Sooooo excited....

Just been invited and have accepted at school a 'Garden Challenge,' fingers crossed we'll make it all the way. It involves 10 schools creating a garden to be shown at a local historical place and working throughout with Chris Beardshaw from 'The Flying Gardener' program to name one. What a fantastic opportunity, with the ultimate winner, possibly exhibiting at a local well known gardening show! I will be asking your advice no doubt, can't wait to create this garden with the kids (fingers crossed!) Wish me luck and please support me!!!!!!

Good luck Mrsc2b, sure it will be fine. What a chance to expand your knowledge as well, for you and the kids.

Go for it. Hope you enjoy the 'doing' as much as the end result. I'm sure we'll all help as much as we can. Best of luck, but most of all, have fun.

Sounds like a great opportunity MrsC. Can you choose the theme or are there certain restrictions you have to work to? Are you going for flowers or veg or a mixture? Get the digi camera out

Just an update to say we have been accepted for this challenge. Off to meet Chris Beardshaw on the 10th April. We have an 8' x 4' plot (not big I know) with space for supporting artwork etc. Got hundreds of ideas for themes, maybe too many. Any ideas?
