  • Michael Wood: The story of India

Has anyone been watching this? We're on episode 5 out of 6 tonight BBC4 20:00.

What an amazing place India is and has been, stunning.

And a heaven in a wild flower

Apparently Elizabeth I sent Mohgul Akbar a letter telling him that reports of his 'humanity' had reached even her ears - wow! I didn't know we knew of India over here then (16th century).

Oh bum... I missed it the first time round and didn't realise it was being repeated. I'll try and watch the last two, at least!

Anyone listening to the serialisation of Black Narcissus on Radio 4? (I know it's not set in India btw!).
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I think I might be able to watch the one showing now via my red button thing, or on the BBC iPlayer (hopefully!).

          Black Narcissus:

          BBC- Radio 4 - Woman's Hour Drama

There's also a superb film with Deborah Kerr - you must try and get hold of it!

I don't know how much more I can cope with re A2A - Gene dressed as Clint last week?!? I came over all uneccessary!!!

I have successfully removed dopey Keeley from my vision and concentrate on Gene and the boys and am once again really enjoying it
