I was watching QI(i think it was)... Evidently after the not the nine o'clock news sketch a 'Flange' has actually become the academically accepted collective noun for Baboons.

'Pants' is a useful term of derision. But 'Toenail' to describe/insult rude and reckless road users who cross my path works well for me.

I don't watch adverts....they are designed to separate idiots and the credulous from their money.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate is most certainly not soap, it's a very cheap foaming agent that is added to shampoos, bubble baths, toothpaste and many other products which the ad agents have persuaded us should have a ridiculous amount of foam associated with them. It didn't used to be used at all and is totally uncecessary but as I said very cheap and therefore l loved by the manufacturers. In addition, it may cause long lasting health benefits. Personally I products with it in as I know they tend to cause my skin to be very dry, whereas others without it don't. Work on the principal even if it isn't doing me long term harm, avoiding it means I can save time not having to moisturise my legs every day is enough of a reason to use something else!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My favourite word for idiot drivers etc is "doylem", (well, favourite when the kids are in the car anyway ) although no-one seems to be sure where the word came from or it's proper meaning, it seems to be associated with L.U.F.C. which is not a good thing...
