I miss her too, however Sarah (Supersprout) would be horrified if she knew you were upset. She was the most positive woman I knew and kept her sense of humour far beyond a point I could have.

Now, wipe away the tears and have a toast to her memory and remember the fun she injected to the forum and smile. She would like that I am certain.

I have a pot of pea shoots on the dining table at the moment and remember Supersprout every time I sow more. Cheers medear for a superb idea.

          Happy St Davids Day folks.

I wish all you Welsh a very happy national day - I can only stretch to English!

Have picked up on Supersprout - didn't know her - but I'm sure she'll be sadly missed by those that did, especially her family, and that her legacy thru these pages will live on - RIP 'friend anon'.

I didn't know Supersprout either but I've certainly benefitted from her advice when using the forum search box. From what I've read about her, I think she would be happy to still be helping those less experienced, a year on from her passing and I'm sure well into the future.

              Happy St David's Day everyone.

I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Yes- SS was indeed an inspiration to us all bless her- Her straw mulching was one thing which has stuck in my mind. (Has anyone been in touch with son of SS??)

                St Davids day.....
I've picked the first daffs of the year from the lottie and have several bunches around the house and also cooked the last of the leeks in a leek tart for tonight!

I would echo you all - SS was a wonderful inspiration and very generous. Many of us have plants and veg in our plots which are a continual reminder of the wonderful person she was.

No daffs up here for St. David's Day I'm afraid.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Well we still have the jerusalem fartichokes she sent me, so when we eat them and there are consequences I shall think of Sarah with fondness.
