    C'mon girlies, get a grip

It is the beginning of March now, so you will have your April mag jus' delivered (or purchased) which in teeny letters on p14 says 'Jobs for April'....

Not that I've been poring over every single word in my noo GYO mag, or anything!

Mine came yesterday, but I was at work and daughter (also a gardener) beat me to it. By the time she'd finished it was bedtime and I had to go to work today, but this evening IT'S MINE!!!!! BTW I pay for it.

Cheers everyone who helped out with all the great tips for the subs' club feature - I've sent the addresses to T&M so hopefully the vouchers should be with you soon.

And feedback or other ideas of what you'd like in the next subs club newsletter would be very gratefully received!

Mrs P wasn't at all surprised when I said I was off to bed with April.

I wonder who chooses the pictures for GYO. Because the first and largest picture on page 2 in the article on beans is surely a purple podded pea. Check it out. Page 64. I have noticed this in the past - there can be a certain laxity in the choice of pics, as though it's more important to fill a space than to get it right.

                      Just a little niggle!

                        Well spotted Flum.

I'd like to say there are mercifully less puns this issue, my toe-curler of the month is probably 'layers of meaning'...although practical yolks and tomato source were in there with a chance.

I went in to my local Tesco supermarket yesterday evening and they've still got quite a few of the March Issue on sale - no sign of April one.

Glad you mention that, OH told me I was sad for pointing it out and surely they'd know............... Will show him your post so that I can gloat! Looked very pretty peas though!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
