Well done you. And I hope you've been able to put it all 'where it belongs' in your own mind and stuff. I've not been called yet, so have no idea how it feels to do that, but if you've acted according to your true gut feeling with the facts and all, you should be proud of yourself. Welcome back. We should all make good use of our time me thinks....

I've never been called but OH was called twice. He really enjoyed the first one and has never received his expenses (which were a joke anyway). The second time he was excused as he was in hospital."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
"It is neccessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live" (also Alexandre Dumas)

I was called up once. The previous case went on and on so I had to ring every night and was told each time not to come in. After a fortnight they called a new bunch so I never went, except the first day which was all hanging around. Mr F did a 3 day case once.
Welcome back to the real world. Gardening is a literally 'grounding' experience isn't it?Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
