  • Really stupid photos question

How can I resize the photos on my puter so I can upload them? What software should I use? Is there somewhere I can do it online?

Got snap happy since I got a digital camera but never thought about resizing them to be able to post.

    Any suggestions please?

I have some s/w called ACDSee that does this as well. If anyone wants it, let me know and I can either dump it in a public access directory for you or email the install program.

Thanks for that Piskie but I've got a ton of them to do so I wouldn't want to take up your spare time too much!

I'll have a look for that software though

        Thanks!

If you e-mail me I'll send you what I use tis really easy or you can download it your self if you like.

          Batch Picture Resize

If you rename the file from PhotoResize400.exe to PhotoResize800.exe then I find it's about right for use on the Vine. To use you simply drag and drop your picture on to the PhotoResize icon and it does everything for you.

For photo editing software try Google Picasa that's free as well

I generally use Photobucket.com. It's a picture hosting site and their edit package has a preset for forums/messageboards.........and it's free.

If you are running Windows XP why not use the free PowerToys. The image resizer is here
