Than you all for your support, I guess I will be here for a lot longer than I thought.

        Cheers Chris

Let me first excuse the tone of my post...

          I have Man Flu

Whilst I love the supportive nature of the replies to this thread...

Why has no one questioned the motivation behind it ?

If I posted a thread saying...

"I've got a secret issue with subscriptions.. but I wont tell you about it"

          my reply would be...

"So shut up and keep it to yourself then Mystery Man, I really don't care"

It all seems a little attention seeking really

I don't know him at all but I think the guy was genuinely concerned that having had a serious issue with the magazine people, he was likely to be excluded from here and it's obvious he has friends on here so that would be a major upset for him.

This thread has clarified to us all that the vine and magazine are linked but are not joined at the hip and therefore we can be secure in the knowledge that if we 'fall out' with the magazine we can still be here

Although, if you're right and this thread is attention seeking - so what? We can all use a bit of that now and again, I know I can.

You beat me to it SMS6, I could be 'heavy-duty' on the attention stakes if I put my mind to it!

No-one is required to post on a thread btw.

Maf, I don't have man-flu, or any flu for that matter, but I do tend to agree with you. Which is why I hadn't replied previously... I guess I'm too used to my kids saying stuff like that - my reply is usually "Either tell me what you're on about, or stop whingeing..."
Sorry if that seems a bit harsh people, but if Crichmond just wanted reassurance that he'd still be welcome, why not just ask the mods - "I'm having a dispute with/about the magazine, will that affect my Vine membership?" without all the mysteriousness??

Anyway, feel free to shoot me down for being heartless I promise I won't leave in a huff

Not attention seeking at all, I was genuinely worried that I would be thrown off here as this is the best and friendliest gardening site I know of, but now that the big boss has said I wont be, I will be staying.
As for the amount of replies to this thread, I didnt expect so many also dont forget nearly half of them are about another subject.

                          Cheers Chris

I don't subscribe but Mr HF does his very best to make sure I get my copy each month.
Please don't go Crichmond, we are all here for you should you need us. We are family you know!

Paul, can we have a section in the mag for clips from forum? It would help introduce the forum and it would be lovely to see the guys and girls names and tips in print. They offer such good advice and are so friendly!

I think thats an excellent idea, although they do ask for tips on here already when they are planning certain articles.
