Has never been for me in the past. Just park in the top carpark and walk in.

If we are having a picnic it needs to be May time.
If we are pubbing it then any time.

I am definitely more up for Wisley rather than Tisley. (only selfish logistics.)

Is it just going just be a Grapes meetup or Grapes and families?

I don't mind either way but given I have a few 'issues' with taking Pippa out anywhere if there are going to be large groups, if we want to make it families I would rather selfishly like to be at or very near home.

I'm happy to offer my house and garden as a venue and will put on a b-b-q if that is an incentive.

Just a suggestion - if anyone does have it at their house, we could all bring a dish.

Could have it at the Social club or canteen at the allotment. But would have to be soft drinks only (as we have amended the licance to members only...long and painfull story).

The other option is meet at the coast in the summer..

I would like to see Terrys chooks and maybe if I can glean a few gems of wisdom from her veg patch .

Maybe we could do a tour of the Surrey Grapes veg patches over late spring/ Summer/early Autumn. Summer's so short so depending how many are interested it could be every fortnight or 3 weeks?

I would find it really useful (and fun) as I don't know any veg growers in my area.

What do you think? Should we set up a schedule?

sadly my kids (g13, b11) are not too interested in home growing etc, so they'd prob go to their mothers instead - but if it was open area and we could take a football and other boys going too, my boy would love to go for a kick-around

that sounds good to me - i can bring a small BBQ too if it's needed - and we can all bring something to eat and something to drink and share the whole lot

and we can do other meets too at other times

sounds good to me too - visitors always welcome here, kettle is always on - if anyone wants to come round just PM me - i'm normally working from home while kids at school and nice to skive off work - and i can be free any time at weekends normally

My kids are similiar. I would prefer to meet without them really.

Not sure how much you would gain in terms of veg wisdom - I'm in the process of relaying the vegbed into narrow beds - if the rain would just stop.......

                            Tracey - I'll PM you.

We need to make a decision otherwise the summer would have gone with all these emails!!! lol. What with the weather being the way it is unpredictable, why not kindly accept TPeers offer and go to her house, we could all bring a dish each, drink, rather than all turning up at a place with a rose in our button hole! Theres two bank holidays in May coming up.
