UFO - I can't say that I know anything of worth - but I can't honestly believe that we are all there is. I mean how darn arrogant would that be

I have seen UFOs on four occaisions.
They were Flying Objects that I couldn't Identify.
How, what, why ? Dunno but I saw them all the same.
I'm quite accepting that odd things do happen.
I could be mad, have poor eyesight or what ever.
I would never claim that they were other worldly things...
Just unidentified flying objects

I really do believe in UFOs have done since I was young. Since the 60's I have read most of Erich Von Daniken's book's like "Chariots of the Gods" asking was god an astronaut ? Like the books say I think we have been around a lot longer than the scientists would have us believe and that we have been visited in the long ago distant past by UFOs and any artifact that has been found (and there have been a lot) lies gathering dust in museum basements because they dont fit in with main stream believes. This is my own humble little opinion.Regards

A UFO is precisely that - unidentified. It could be a plane, a flying animal or a ball thrown by Superman. Not nececelery (sic) a stellarator fusion reactor powered, ion emmiting, RADAR evading composite disc travelling at time bending warp speed vessel, Captain!
It would be arrogant to assume we are alone, but as this planet of ours has been a ball transmitting radio frequency energy for the last 100 years we have made ourselves very, very visible. So, either any aliens (green or not) who have a similar or more developed level of technology have chosen to avoid us like the plague, or are plotting our status change from the top of the food chain...
Also, it is ironic to think that the first RF transmissions of any power to break through the ionosphere and possibly be detectable were those of the 1934 Berlin Olympic Games. Wouldn't old Uncle Adoph H have loved that - possibly being the 1st emissary representing the Human Race? Carl Sagan was correct in his research here unfortunately...
Interesting also to note that after the atomic detonations in 1945 and during the 50's there have been more observations of UFO's. And..... eeeeeven more interestingly look at our leaps in technology since 1947... A mere coincidence this was the year Shockley 'invented' the first transistor spelling the end for the mighty vacuum tube? Indeed I for one think we are not alone, and if there are more intelligent species out there they are very sensibly avoiding Homo Erectus/Sapiens.Let's go diggin' dirt....
Big silver bird, come land low and slow
Cut your engines, cool your wings,
You've taken me home...
