Think I have calmed down a bit now! But still got a big grin
The Newsletter goes to my PC at work and as I have been out on site all day, I had not picked this up. So it was quite a surprise to log on tonight and hear the news.
I always think I ask the questions and certainly do not give any answers or advice as I am very much a novice. I was just telling OH that I have learnt so much this year about all manners of things, all through the efforts of all you other grapes on the Vine.
Its Schnapps Day tomorrow (I have all the ingredients waiting and the rhubarb just at its peak), so I will celebrate with schnapps in six months time!
Thanks everyone.~

Posted this before but in case you missed it, I went out to buy some rhubarb at the garden centre after reading the posts about rhubarb leaves and slug control. They wanted £9.99 for a little bit in a pot Suffice to say I am still without rhubarb

My goodies bag arrived day - Very interesting "big book of backyard projects" (OH's facial expression on unpacking a joy!), CD-Rom Garden Detective and Pocket Veg Expert, both of which will be very handy, and essential guides to fruit and allotments. Lots of seeds too - the Kids Tiger Toms look fascinating and I've got a selection to keep me going through the winter including brussels, broccoli, winter spring onions, and carrots.
All fantastic! Many thanks all. Will go and hide myself away and find a nice backyard project for when we come back from holiday
