dog poo wormeries!

Oh yes, for all you disbelievers out there! Stoke wromeries are now making a dog poo wormery. �30. You do not mix garden or household waste with it and only use it on the flowering part of your crops but------ I don't know if I am brave enough to go down this route yet! However, as my two seem to be overactive s--t machines I am wondering whether to actually make one with some free recycling bins and see what happens. �2. for the worms from a fishing shop, a bit of cardboard soaked and ripped up lots of organic and Bobs your uncle and the jobs a good one? Any comments

Where did you see this, mrs d? I couldn't find it on Stoke's website (may well be blind) and could only find ones which were �69-�72!!

So let's have this right you are suggesting... a DIY doggy-do-do converter run on fishing tackle! and the product will be used on your 'crops'.... and you want our comments!

I think I'm going to be sick... as no doubt you will be when you take the lid off you fly breeding programme next summer.

I could think of better use for worms! As for the dog waste, put it in the council dog loos, that's what they're for.

I've got an experimental cat poo bin on the go mixed with their wheat based cat litter, it's in a closed bin (drilled drainage holes in the base) with worms and cardboard and didn't have any fly problems all last summer.
Trouble is it takes too long and can't cope with the volume, so I don't think I'll try it again.
