  • Lots of Snow

Lots of Snow came down last night started about 12 ish with soft flakes then turned in to a blizzard and settled very quick, the thought of getting home this morning from work was scary and still scary it’s a blizzard.
Glad I’m going to bed hope its all gone by the time I get up at tea time.
Oh its my last night to night and I’m hoping to get time down the allotment to dig out some weeds and dig over a patch to get my carrots in tomorrow.
Hope the your all having a lovely Easter weekend.

Fingers crossed for you - hope the weather holds off for your digging!

It's wet and windy down here - chickens want to come out to play but it's really not fit

Think it has just hit us down here; it was a bit fluffy for a while, then loads of sunshine and now it's windy and snowing. all in the space of an hour.

going to wales tomorrow so don't really want to drive on a snowy day.

      not happy.

Got some good pictures when I was going over the A66 last night. Remind me to post them up on Sunday night when I get home.

Had some snow and hail yesterday, but it didnt stick!

Its now blowing a gale and cold, tho the sun does keep shining, inbetween the clouds! Going to go and start marinading the meat for tonights first Barbeque of the season, then put up the gazebo for protection, forecast is cold and wind dying off, no snow due here til after midnight, so hopefully we'll be able to finish the BBQ before it starts!

Nooooo, this completely ruins our family's reputation as the maddest barbie users in the UK. We're not even thinking of it yet.

Haha Bluemoon! We had our first last year (with the same set of friends - YoanBob) on Easter Monday, and its now a tradition that we kick off the season early - even if we have to wrap up in fleeces and waterproofs to cook it!!

Hi KirstyB! Hows things with you? Tinternet has been playing up after some local yoofs nicked the phone exchange, whole of our village, part of the next village and half a local town had no phones for over a week, plus puter probs has kept me offline, along with the fact that I'm still firefighting at work and working too hard, had to take 2 days off recently with exhaustion, but we are now getting there, just a shame the wage budgets for next year have now been cut, so I'm going to have to run 2 full time staff short for this year! Also have a new Area Manager, who is visiting for the first time on Wednesday, just hope he realises how far we've come in the past 9 weeks and doesnt think that where we are now is as good as its going to get!
                        Blessings

Quite a bit of snow here this morning and still lying although a bit patchy. Snow flurries all day and its bitterly cold. Apparently we've got alot of snow forecast for Sunday evening into Monday morning. GREAT !!! I'm not at work.

We are having freakish weather here... mixtures of hail, slush, bright sunshine and blowing a gale - it was "slushing" 2 mins ago and now it looks like a summers day, but with strong winds!!
