we've had snow,don't really wont to see it but it looks momentarily pretty,just really want to start proper gardening but today have used the greenhouse for a rabbit run!oh well!!

I am so jealous of all of you that have snow, we don't get it where i live, my daughter is eleven and we have only had snow showers then its gone she would love to play in it. I live in sunny south Devon where the sea meets the moors.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

Thought it was supposed to have finished snowing
Woke up this morning, looked out of the window and SNOW!! It was snowing yesterday but didn't settle. Good covering at 8 am when I took these photos. Still snowing but seems to be melting now at about the same rate as the new stuff is falling, so no deeper.Comment

I've lost track of what day things have happened over this weekend, but suffice to say that we've had plenty of snow - enough to keep me away from the plot anyway.
Woke up on Saturday morning and there was a covering of snow - about 2 inches, but it had melted by the time we went to bed. Friday was snow showers all day on and off. Some like blizzards, then we had "polystyrene snow", then fuuge flakes, then sleet...
Up in Sheffield yesterday and it was lovely and sunny, then by the time we got back dan saaf it was miserable again.
Been sneet showers this morning, but nothing's settled.
Bought a little cold frame heater from Homebase on Saturday (bargain shelf price of £10) and the seedlings seem to be ok at the moment, but they'll likely die of paraffin fumes before they freeze.

Had more snow on and off all day. Still more melting than settling. More forecast for tomorrow, but we'll wait and see!!Comment

Been pretty bad here with schools closed tomorrow. White out conditions during blizzards through the day and alot of snow lying and drifting in the wind. Thunder and lightening during one blizzard. Lots more to come through the night and into the morning apparently.

We had about 4 cms on Sunday am.. all melted.(i ran in slush:-(((( Occasional flurries yesterday and today.. frost overnight.
This is more like march that I remember rather than the hot dry one we had last year.
