  • germinator, sprouter etc, how does it work?

I'm a Sprouter, which is nice!
    How is it worked out?
How many posts before you progress to the next stage?
What is the sequence from germinator to ?
What is the oldest/longest member ever did they turn to compost?

Just in a curious mood today!

    Thanks in advance x

ok, at 500 posts ( I think ) you become a rooter, you become a cropper at 1000, not sure after that......

EDIT - please don't assimilate me!

I think at 3000 you turn into an Early Fruiter, but Nick the Grief is a special case and went straight to Garden Guru when he turned 3000! I don't know who the first Grape was, but of the regular posters here, Nicos, Sewer Rat and Nick TG were all here before me.

GYO doesn't publish at what number of posts the descriptions change. I think they're trying to avoid the kind of situation which has arisen on some forums where people make useless posts just to get up the ladder.
If you look on the right hand side you can see how many posts people have made and check that against their status. But it's just for fun.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

This is about to be my 2000 post (I think!) so will have to see what that makes me!!!!!!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Ah, it would seem that I'm now an early fruiter - don't know if I can become a main crop later on though......................

I've just become a seedling! Quite apt seeing as I've got seeds all over the place!
