Ok folks. We're dying to see your pics so try this.
              In Picassa
              Select your pic
Click Export - bottom right of screen.
In browse - select My Documents
In name of folder - type a name for your pic you will recognise in my documents
In resize to - click this option and enter 450 pixels.
              Click OK.
Your pic is now in My Documents.

              To post on the vine
              Click - go advanced
              Click the paperclip
              Click Browse
              Look in - My documents
Find the name you gave your pic and click on it.
              Click Open
Click - the number which comes up under Picasa ini
              Click Open
Click Upload (You can see your pic by clicking the green writing)
              Go back to the Vine
Click the arrow beside the paperclip
Click the number in the drop down box
Voila - your pic is there.
There may be quicker ways but that's how I do it.
              Any probs - PM me.

Post those pics, I'm waiting to see them. Good luck.

Alternatively, if you are looking for an easy way, try the image resizer free from Micro$oft. Download from http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe for Windows XP, or do a google search for microsoft powertot image resizer for other systems.

Resizing involves righ clicking on the file in My Computer, select resize and choose the size you want.

Headfry, look back at the instructions.
                    Did you
In resize to - click that option so you get a green dot there
Type in 450 in the pixel box
                    Click OK.
                    That's what resizes the pic.
Try again making sure you have resized.
If that fails PM me and I'll arrange to phone and talk you through it.

Just dl for a try, looks pretty simple to use. It might be easier for peeps to resize pics BEFORE loading into Photobucket, etc.

Hi Alice yes I resized to 450 (green dot) checked the picture it looks smaller.
When I get to the 'upload' it still states file is to big for this file type?
what file type, could this be the problem?
Thanks Alice Will pm tomorrow if I still can't work it out.
Starting to drive me nuts as I am sure I am doing all the right things????

                          Hi headfry

Try the link below its very easy to use, it resizes converts and also rotates pictures at the click of the mouse, I use it all the time.
It is freeware and has no spyware or popups on it.
