When I joined the forum, I was looking for advice on a certain garden pest. Have a guess what I did with them. No, go on, knock yourself out. Tee hee!

Moggs is my little black bundle of fur (used to be my avatar as well when I first joined) and I'm Sue ... so just to make it difficult to type I just put them together. Not very interesting I'm afraid ...

Mine came about earlier this year when I decided to turn the lower half of our garden to veggies. (approx 120'x50' ) This required lots of digging, we had just got our chooks and anyone who has chooks will know that when you start digging and they are out of their pen ... it is easy to dig that chick!

Cos I become "Alison" on a Saturday night when I put on heels and a bit of lippy?

Think I claimed this when we had this thread last time too....

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

So that's where names orginate from - I like this thread, sorry I'd missed the previous one.

I'm T-lady coz I'm female and drink a lot of tea (and wine but Wine-lady or Wino would have just been too close to the truth!)

                                Well my name is Jan,

When I went on holiday to Jamaica a few years ago, I fell in love with the Jamaican word Irie, because it has such positive meanings and to me sounds like a happy word when spoken!

Irie means anything from ok, good, fine, cool, or happy. It can also be taken as feeling good due to being merry from a little too much to drink, or even in the mood if you catch my drift! lol

It can be applied to anything good depending on the situation it is used in! "Irie" is however most commonly used as the standard reply to the greeting, "hi how are you"?

After peeking in on this website for a while b4 I joined, I decided it was an Irie place full of irie people, so gave myself the name Irie Jan!

                                keep it all good floks!
