My bees!

Well, after finding lots and lots of dead bees outside the hive Thursday evening I was so pleased to see them very, busy on Sunday, bringing in huge amounts of bright yellow pollen. It's a good sign, maybe they are rearing brood now!!!
Don't quite know why so many dead ones were dragged out of the hive. It's been a steady few over the past 2 months! A lot for me to learn!
Fingers are crossed for my girls.

Glad to hear the bees seem to be okay HF. It must have been worrying to find a load of deceased ones. I have had a good few bumble bees enjoying my heather patch lately and there was a humungus bumbler in the greenhouse yesterday.

I ask the powers that be (pun intended ) they said not allowed

A pig is acceptable so are chooks..No bbbbb's

Someone on our site has a plot just for bee hives - he has about 8 hives on there. It's away from the other plots & I don't think it would have been cultivated if he hadn't been using it. And all those little bees are helping pollinate our plants!
