Sounds lovely. As of yesterday I'm caring for my grandchildren while their mum and dad are at work, but I did manage a quick potter this evening when they'd gone home. I was planning a long session on the lottie for the weekend, but I've just heard that the met office have forecast snow.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Got home from work around 5.30, fed the guinea pigs and moved the run. Checked the greenhouse and watered some stuff. Checked all the seedlings. Got a bit more room now as some of the stuff has been transferred to the lottie. Nice evening, felt like spring but apparently the weather's going back to winter at the weekend.

It was warmer y'day, but not much sun to be seen behind the thick cloud. V.windy too, as usual. I got a little bit more of the new plot dug over and planted up (shallots, more poached eggs for ground cover).
Today it is lovely: clear and sunny, so a full afternoon at the plot is in order. Though I am hanging fire on putting up a shed, cos Mr Sheds has just announced we may move to 4 miles away. I will put my name down on another waiting list for another new plot. It'd be lovely just to be settled. All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.
